The International Oil and Gas Producers Association (OGP) commissioned CTP to research and write a recommended practice for Well Operations Crew Resource Management (WOCRM), to promote responsible and incident-free operations. In future, the aim is for all training providers and accrediting bodies to adhere to this recommended practice. CTP is the lead provider of Well Operations Crew Resource Management (WOCRM) Programmes.
CTP was awarded the OGP contract based on our wealth of experience of delivering human factors-based Crew Resource Management programmes in critical environments across the world, including oil and gas companies, using our cadre of highly-qualified experts and coaches. The OGP recommended practice document is being introduced in the wake of recent oil and gas industry incidents. The industry generally views Crew Resource Management as the ‘missing link’ in their training armoury to help prevent a similar disaster happening again.
