President of BP Azerbaijan Georgia Turkey Invites CTP as Keynote Speaker

Phil Smith, Managing Director of CTP has been personally invited by BP Regional President of Azerbaijan Georgia Turkey, Gordon Birrell, to act as keynote speaker at the company’s annual safety forum. Over a hundred managing directors and chief executives from BP’s main contractors in the Caspian region will attend the conference to be held in Baku on Friday 6th June 2014.

Speaking about the conference Phil Smith commented, 

“CTP has a wealth of experience of providing human factors training interventions to the oil and gas industry, which it’s a privilege for me to be able to share. The safety and security of personnel in the field is constantly in the hearts and minds of these delegates, along with their commitment to safeguarding resources and the environment. This will be the second time I have addressed this audience and my intention is to develop a deeper understanding of human factors within this critical environment. Simple, mindful changes in process and behaviour as a result of our training interventions can, and does, result in fewer potentially damaging incidents in the workplace.”
