Andrew Garven MA CRMI
Andrew completed a Masters Degree in Leadership Studies from Exeter University in July 2009. During this programme he undertook coaching interventions with senior executives at Lloyds TSB and senior managers within Lincolnshire County Council. His dissertation specialised in Emotional Intelligence and was used to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of leadership training within the Royal Air Force.
Andrew is a Flight Engineer who has spent over 17 of his 23 year military flying career working in and leading, multi-disciplined teams in task critical environments.
During the last 6 years he has been responsible for the theoretical development and the delivery of practical leadership training for over 500 trainee officers per year at Royal Air Force College Cranwell. Also, whilst at Cranwell he developed and introduced new and accredited leadership, facilitation and coaching development courses. .
He is a master practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). As well as being experienced in the utilisation of Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) in self awareness training he has also studied Transactional Analysis, qualifying to TA101 standard. He is also an accomplished trainer with considerable experience in team focused environments utilising the Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI)
Andrew regularly delivers team focused training in the commercial and military sectors with international financial organisations, a leading global telecommunications company and aviation companies.
PJ Stevens
Specialising in soft skill training, facilitation and team building PJ has been described as refreshing, direct and very enthusiastic. He has worked with national and international clients including Dior, 02Cellnet, the DTI, Prudential, UBS, International Labour Organisation, Sony, Lotus and the European Central Bank and has been on SKY, BBC and C4 TV Programmes.
According to clients, he has a very keen sense of marrying up and developing the way people behave to how they perform in business and leverages small changes in behaviour that make big differences to performance.
He is highly motivated and considers it his role to help clients improve and develop the 3Ps – People, Performance and Productivity. Your team success in working with PJ can be evidenced by decreases in stress levels, misunderstandings, costly personality clashes, unwarranted conflict, sick days and wasted time and increases in trust, engagement, ownership, confidence, communication, leadership and feedback. He is MBTI, SDI and Belbin accredited.
Alongside his corporate work, PJ also works with professional sports people – including sailors, polo players, footballers and golfers - helping them with motivation, focus, beliefs, thought processes, outstanding behaviour and goal achievement. Their trophies are testament to PJ's successful services.
With a passion for speed and some world record power boat experience, he is currently working on a 200mph Power Boat World Record Project.
Tim Jones
Tim joined the ranks of the Royal Air Force and quickly gained the Queen’s Commission and left the Service as a Senior Operations Manager. He worked predominantly as an Air Traffic Controller at the leading edge of the expeditionary Air Force and conducted several successful and significant Operational tours. He was attached to the Winter Survival School from where he went on to become a Resistance to Interrogation and Conduct after Capture instructor. He then moved into a higher management role and was a team leader responsible for the coordination of political intent, financial control, training needs and requirements of fast jet assets. Tim spent considerable time cross training with other sectors of the Army and Navy and this led him to develop further key skills, he was also the Personal Aide to a leading NATO Director. He has routinely raised considerable sums of money for charity and organizes large corporate events on an annual basis.
Since leaving the Royal Air Force Tim has established a successful hospitality company based in the Home Counties. He has an interest in a blossoming private security company based in the Far East and consults on matters of aviation logistics for a maritime security company. Tim regularly uses his wide network of contacts and acts as a relationship advisor. Tim is a pivotal negotiator for new businesses and key-enabler for innovative commercial activity.
